An Authentic French Brasserie in the Heart of Buenos Aires! Not to be confused with a bistro, which is traditionally small and these days, fairly expensive. Brasserie Petanque is truly an original and authentic French concept. It is owned by Pascal Meyer and his wife Leticia Beber. The head chef is Sebastien Fouillade, from Bordeaux, and he is responsable for creating the lovely meals that they serve. Some of the dishes that one finds here include: Caracoles Petanque, traditional onion soup and rabbit with Dijon sauce. For dessert they have Crépes Suzette and Crème Brulée. Of course, they have an excellent selection of French wines, and also, fine liquers like Armagnac, Cognac, Calvados and Pastis. When you go, make sure to make a reservation. Also, visit this place for lunch. They have daily specials at good prices.
