The Faculty of Engineering of the University of Buenos Aires is internationally recognized as being a top university because of its prestigious professors. The building that houses this department is in the neoclassic style. Originally it was the head office of the foundation María Eva Duarte de Perón. Areas of study include: Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Naval Engineering and Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering and Information Technology, Agricultural Engineering, and Systems Engineering.
