El Teatro Latinoamericano de Creación e Investigación Teatral (CELCIT) has been operationg since 1989, under the direction of Juan Carlos Gené. From the beginning, he has been directing his efforts towards creating the perfect actors of Latin American Theater. This mission began with a search for expressive quality, solid proposals, qualified stage hands, and the theatrical history of the past few decades. This prestigious institution, which has funcioned for years in Bolívar 825, almost disappeared. But, when it closed at that location, it found a new home in Moreno 431.
