Croatian food
On San Juan Avenue you will find a large blue wall with a black door and a sign that says “Dobar Tek” with a flag of Croatia. Yes, this is a restaurant where you can eat Croatian food!!!
This restaurant is owned by the Rusendics, who are also owners of Restaurant Makarska in Mar del Sur, in the Province of Buenos Aires, which was opened in 1975, first under the supervision of Juan and Betty Rusendic and then of their daughter Adriana, who has kept its long and tasty traditions alive. What about the menu? It is in Croatian, with a translation in Spanish. It includes items that range from Krumpirusa (potato strudel) to Punjene Paprike (stuffed peppers).
The waitresses wear black pants and shirts with a little Croatian flag sewed on to their shirt collars. In short, it is an ideal environment for nostalgic people from this country and for all those adventurers who have developed a sophisticated taste for exotic food.
