It is a nice apartment. It's good that there are no buses anymore in Chacabuco, although there is always noice in BsAs:) The apartment is big enough for 2 people and it is nice to have a patio. There comes a cleaninglady every week. It's a pity that the guests have to wash the used sheets and towels themselves. It would be an improval if the company would take care of that. I would recommend the apartment to others.

We simply love this apartment, and will want to stay here next time. It feels very cosy and comfortable. The patio was a favorite - morning sun, afternoon shade and evening stars. The artwork hanging throughout adds a very personal feeling as does the bright colors chosen for the kitchen and living room. The location was great - a fantastic restaurant right downstairs, shopping etc. all good and close. Transportation easy from here. The staff at Casa San Telmo were very quick and helpful. Thank you. Hasta luego!

It was a great place to call home for the week. Check in/out was easy and flexible. The apartment is up on the third floor which helped shield it from sidewalk traffic. There is a nice cafe downstairs - good food (huge portions), reasonably priced and definitely one of the better spots in the neighborhood we encountered. We would stay there again!

I had a wonderful time in this apartement in Buenos Aires. It situated just in the very central place in San Telmo, just some corner away from Defensa. Neighbourhood was safe, I could walk alone even in late night after milongas. I recommend to all who love lively, busy life, local stylish venues. Cafés are within a few steps. If I go to BA again, I will try to book this apartement again!

We had a great time in San Telmo. A very charming and spacious apartment with a very homey feeling.

A lovely flat in the heart of atmospheric San Telmo. We had a cab waiting for us at Ezeiza, and were met promptly at the flat, which was very comfortable. If you like it very quiet you might want to book elsewhere: San Telmo is a vibrant place, and the flat is above a bus route, so you do get noise and fumes - but you can say that about anywhere in Buenos Aires! Flat was clean, airly and spacious, and so much more fun than a boring hotel room on Corrientes. Plaza Dorrego is three blocks away, and its heaven.

This was just the perfect stay. Besides the fact that the apartment is simply amazing and located perfectly in San Telmo, Barbara is a wonderful hostess. She came up with loads of helpful information and made our stay a great pleasure. If possible, this would be 6 of 5 points!!! See you again, Barbara!

It's hard to say enough about how great of a time we had in BA, and so much of that had to do with Barbara and this awesome apartment. The space is beautiful (with super quirky decor), it has loads of windows (which provided a great cross-breeze), was centrally located (tons of bus options, super easy location for getting a cab and only about a 10min walk to either the San Juan or the Plaza de Mayo train stations) and is run by one of the nicest people I've met in recent memory.
it was absolutely the right decision. The vibe of San Telmo is old world... like New Orleans without the frat-boys. Not that it isn't touristy in its own right... but it's so much better of a vibe, at least for us, than that of Palermo (which was pretty much just shopping, shopping and more shopping). It's a little more of a step back in time to stay in San Telmo (just put your blinders on for the new Starbucks)... and that was really what we were looking for. If you're struggling with that 'which part of town to stay in' decision like we were, I'd definitely have to throw my vote towards San Telmo to soak up the history while it's still there... especially while there's a host as friendly and helpful as Barbara around!
